The forest appears lush and peaceful during the monsoon, as the jungle is denser than ever, and the trees and meadows have grown during the monsoon with new leaves. Therefore, spotting animals during this time may be difficult until they come out in the open, as they often remain hidden in the foliage. Additionally, there may be sporadic rains.

The park remains closed from June 15 – September 15 since it is the breeding season for animals.
