Why your marks of 10th standard is not that important

Results of 10th standards are now out.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has declared their results of the students of 10th standard a few days back.

So, many many congratulations to all of the students of class 10.

But, here comes the reality.

All of the students are not “toppers”.

They might have financial problems or any other problems or they might not have the proper environment to study and score incredible and secure the so called “perfect rank”.

Or they might not be that good in studies.

Some might be better at something else.

So, they might have failed to achieve 90-99% score, also called the “perfect score” by some people.

But, now the question is, “So what?”.

The examination of 10th standard may be the first significant examination in the life of a student.

But does the score really matter?

No, this marks doesn’t define your future.

Of course, this marks will help get admission in 11th standard. But the school you get into doesn’t define you or your future.

Then eventually the mark sheet will become nothing but a useless paper.

The mark sheet and the admit card will only be used for verification of your age and for verification of some official statements.

Nobody will ever judge you according to your marks in 10th standard.

So, don’t worry.

Prepare hard and achieve a brilliant result in 12th standard, your next big examination.

And don’t worry. There are ups and downs in everybody’s life.

Once, if you are successful enough, nobody is going to ask you about your marks in 10th standard.

So, don’t be sad, just work hard and achieve your dream.

The people who are judging you today, your success will be the perfect slap for them.

So work hard and all the very best for your future.
