Takdah is a beautiful hamlet located near Darjeeling. It is one of the best offbeat destinations near Darjeeling. As this place was a British military cantonment, this place has a lot of British colonial-era bungalows.
During our trip, we stayed in one such Bungalow, known as the Saino – The Heritage Bungalow. It is a charming guest house built in 1907 and was now restored by the Moktan family.
