The Kolkata Christmas Festival 2024 will be celebrated in two parts.
Allen Park Festival | 19th – 23rd December 2024 |
Park Street Festival | 26th – 30th December 2024 |
Allen Park will remain closed on the 24th and 25th of December.

Who organizes the Kolkata Christmas Festival
The Kolkata Christmas Festival is organized by the Christian Community and Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal with the support of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Kolkata Police, and some other private companies.
Allen Park, Park Street hosts most of the event.
Things to do at the Kolkata Christmas Carnival
Start your day by visiting St. Paul’s Cathedral located near the Maidan Metro. The cathedral is decorated very well and looks beautiful.
Walking through Park Street on the 25th has to be the main thing that you do at this event. The road gets completely blocked on this day. Two lanes are made for two ways of movement.
Thousands of people walk through the street enjoying the decoration and the lighting with their friends and family.

Main attractions at the Kolkata Christmas Festival
The main attraction of this festival is the long walk through the beautifully decorated Park Street.
Looks out for the things to buy from the hawkers such as Devil horns, Santa caps, Oversized glasses, and Balloons.
Allen Park also hosts a lot of performances including dance, music, choir performance, and more. Usha Uthup, Barefoot, Krosswindz, and Orient Express have performed live at KCF over the years.
A two-hour Christmas Parade is also organized on one of the days in which about 500 school children participate.
Strobe lights will be spinning around Park Street. The whole place turns into a complete Winter Wonderland.

If you are planning to visit on the day of Christmas or the 25th of December make sure to visit St. Paul’s cathedral and the “Garer math” or the maidan in front of Victoria Memorial.
Visit St. Paul’s Cathedral before 4 P.M. as it closes for the general public after that.
